Community Assessment to Revitalize St. Peter's

Proj. #:4708
Description: St. Peters Anglican Church sits on the shores of Maple Lake in the centre of what was a tiny community by the same name. The original church was built in the late 1800s and was replaced by the current magnificent stone structure build in 1905. It serves about 40 active parishioners who are highly committed to the health of the church (building) and its parish (of Maple Lake Minden and Kinmount) in maintaining its viability as a church community. Should the church continue on -business as usual- or are there new and exciting directions that could be taken to accomplish a number of objectives. If so new initiatives would/could enrich lives within the community and create opportunities for youth as well as jobs.
